European Mentoring Summit 14 - 16 March 2018, Berlin

The European Mentoring Summit will be a great opportunity to strengthen your network, to get to know the diversity of the mentoring scene, to gain and pass on new insights from research and action. This event will bring together more than 200 practitioners, researchers and educational partners from Europe and beyond, under the theme "Strong Relationships for a Strong Civic Society".
Mentoring helps to build bridges between people of different backgrounds, encourages young people in their development and supports immigrants to settle into their new environments. Despite the diversity of the target groups and forms of mentoring, it is the sustainable, trustworthy and resilient relationship between mentor and mentee that forms the basis; it is also the starting point for amazing results. For this reason, we have chosen the motto “Strong Relationships for Strong Civic Societies” for this 3rd European Mentoring Summit, and we will address three key issues:
* building strong relationships
* mentoring for migrants
* the impact measurement of mentoring.
Participants receive impressions, opportunities for exchange, methods of evidence-based practices and more.

Registration and call for proposals

Please register at www.mentoringsummit.eu and also check out all further information on the summit website.
The first summits took place in 2014 in Heerenveen, and 2016 in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. The third edition of the European Mentoring Summit is now coming to Germany. In addition to prominent keynotes, among others by Prof. dr. Jean Rhodes of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring at the University of Massachusetts Boston, there will be "sessions" and "workshops" – each giving new input, research results, important tools and concrete action knowledge.
Your own expertise is also on demand: "Sessions" and "workshops" are offered to deepen topics. If you wish to contribute, you are welcome to participate. You can submit your ideas now, send us blog entries about your daily mentoring experience or suggest your own session based on the open Call for Proposals under "Get Involved!"
